Carolling 2011

December is finally here!

ICAIS took part in the holiday celebrations by carrying out the annual caroling project on the 12th of this month. Interactors visited the female inmates of the Welikade Prison, the wonderful elder residents of the Little Sister Elders Home and also the brave soldiers at the Ranaviru Sevana who fought for our country. Members performed Christmas carols for all our audiences. We hoped to spread the joy of Christmas and we were quite successful. We handed out bonbons and sweets to the young children living in the Welikade prison as well as a Christmas Hamper to the Little Sisters home and music CDs to the Ranaviru Sevana.

Interactors also had the privilege of performing for the inhabitants of Lotus Grove and of Fairmount Residencies. We were extremely grateful for the efforts they had put in to provide wonderful refreshments for us and setting up Christmas parties.
